The rules for forming a list of strategically important medicines have been approved
The Government has approved the procedure for the formation of a list of strategically important medicines. Drugs from the list will receive priority in public procurement and state support.
The list is divided into two parts:
The first section is basic medicines:
vaccines from the national calendar
blood products, infusion solutions
narcotic analgesics
medicines for especially dangerous infections
The second section includes drugs without analogues in the Russian Federation or with a full production cycle in Russia, which are used for socially significant diseases, dangerous infections, or antibiotics and discounted medicines.
The decision is made by an interdepartmental commission (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Finance, FAS, FMBA, etc.). The first version of the list is planned to be prepared by June 10, 2026.
