Rustam Nigmatullin: "Procurement mechanisms used in Tatarstan significantly expand the geography of commodity producers."

Today, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Procurement held a final board meeting on the results of the department's work for 2025 and plans for 2026. The event was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nigmatullin.

By the end of 2025, the total volume of published notices in accordance with the legislation on the contract system amounted to more than 301 billion rubles. The total amount of contracts concluded in the republic exceeded 311 billion rubles. More than 6 billion rubles of budget funds have been saved. The State Committee conducted 814 centralized purchases in the amount of over 8 billion rubles directly. Of the total volume of purchases, about 80% of the contracts were concluded with republican suppliers.

Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee Marat Ziatdinov noted in his report a significant increase in support for small businesses.

"We are witnessing a qualitative change in the structure of purchases from small businesses. In 2025, the amount of such contracts reached almost 96 billion rubles, which is significantly higher than in previous years," the head of the department stressed.

Rustam Nigmatullin, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted that an effective system of state and municipal procurement is one of the key tools for the development of the republic's economy, especially in the current economic conditions.

"Today, government and municipal procurement are an integral part of the economy. Through them, we implement major infrastructure projects, ensure the work of social institutions and government agencies. The procurement mechanisms used in Tatarstan not only develop competition, but also significantly expand the geography of our producers," summed up Rustam Nigmatullin.

At the end of the extended meeting, an award ceremony was held.
