Employees of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Procurement Development Center have successfully completed first aid training. The classes were conducted by instructors from the Institute of Fundamental Medicine of Kazan Federal University.
The program included four hours of intensive theoretical and practical classes, during which the staff learned the basics of intensive care, rules for wound treatment and stopping bleeding, ways to evacuate victims and provide emergency assistance to victims of poisoning, burns and insect bites.
The list of conditions for which first aid is provided:
1. Lack of consciousness.
2. Respiratory arrest and/or circulatory arrest.
3. Violation of the patency of the respiratory tract by a foreign body, other conditions threatening respiratory failure.
4. External bleeding of various origins.
5. Injuries, wounds and damages caused by mechanical, chemical, electrical, thermal effects and radiation.
6. Poisoning with substances of chemical origin.
7. Bites or stings of poisonous animals and insects.
8. Convulsive attack accompanied by loss of consciousness.
9. Acute psychological reactions to stressful situations.
Thus, the training of employees of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Central Medical District is aimed at increasing the level of preparedness to respond to emergencies and accidents, ensuring the safety and health of colleagues and the population of the Republic.
