The capital of Tatarstan will become a venue for the first All-Russian conference of educational organizations in the field of procurement for 2 days. Today, with the participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin, its grand opening took place.

"Procurement is now not just a mechanism for meeting state and municipal needs, but a rather complex ecosystem that requires a high level of competence from specialists," Rustam Nigmatullin addressed the conference participants.

Maxim Topilin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, noted that today the legislation in the field of public procurement is quite perfect, but nevertheless certain changes and amendments are periodically made to it.

"The effectiveness and targeted use of a huge amount of budget funds, both at the federal level and at the level of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, depend on the implementation of the law," Topilin noted.

The conference focuses on assessing the quality of educational programs and rating educational institutions, sharing best practices in training personnel for the procurement sector, introducing the latest tools and techniques for training specialists, and solving problems in the field of educational services procurement.

"During the two–day conference, we will be able to work out specific solutions that will serve as the basis for the development of the entire education system in the field of procurement in Russia," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the State Procurement Committee.

The large-scale event brought together representatives from 27 regions of Russia. Among the participants are leading experts in the field of procurement, representatives of federal authorities and teachers of the best universities in the country.

"It is important for us to discuss the current state of the educational services market in the field of procurement, develop common approaches to education and evaluate the effectiveness of training specialists," said Pavel Tikhomirov, General Director of the Union of Purchasers.

The program of the event includes plenary sessions and discussion platforms for discussing topical issues of the industry. The conference will last two days — on September 10 and 11. The organizers are the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the Union of Purchasers of Russia.
