Today, the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan held a solemn defense of projects and the presentation of certificates to graduates of the pilot educational program for training young specialists in public procurement "The Buyer. A new generation." The event was attended by Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Ziatdinov, representatives of the Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Youth Government of the Republic.
"The training of qualified personnel in the field of procurement is a strategically important task for the Republic of Tatarstan. Today we are seeing the first results of our new educational initiative, and I am sincerely impressed by the level of projects presented by the participants. We see great potential in these young people and are ready to continue to support their professional development," said Marat Ziatdinov in his welcoming speech.
The program participants presented various projects to optimize procurement processes, introduce innovative solutions, and improve the regulatory framework. Arina Sosnina is a graduate of Kazan State Energy University. The program "Buyer. New Generation" became an important step for her in professional development.
"I gained not just knowledge, but a systematic understanding of the entire procurement process. Now I can clearly see how this area functions, what competencies are required by a modern buyer, and what career prospects are opening up in this area. I have already decided for myself that I will continue to develop in the field of public procurement," Arina emphasized.
Graduates of the program received not only official certificates, but also offers of further employment in state and municipal institutions of the republic. Representatives of the Youth Government of Tatarstan expressed their willingness to support graduates of the program in their further professional development.

The New Generation program included a two-week remote module of theoretical training and an intensive one-week practical session with real-world case studies led by leading industry experts. In total, about 20 students and young professionals participated in the pilot project. For the first time, the State Committee is engaged in training students and specialists who have no experience in the field of procurement. Participation in the program is free of charge.
