From September 1, it will be prohibited to advertise on resources that are in Russia has been recognized as undesirable or extremist. Old materials from bloggers will also be required to be deleted. The fine for non-compliance with the new rules will range from two to 500 thousand rubles.
From the first day of autumn, fines will be issued for searching for extremist information through a VPN. The amount of the penalty will be from three to five thousand rubles.
From September 1, it will also be prohibited to advertise VPN services. Sites or citizens who decide to disobey will pay from 50 to 500 thousand rubles.
