The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan has launched an intensive training course on the new program "Buyer. A new generation." The program is designed specifically for young professionals and students who want to develop professionally in the field of public procurement.
The training was opened by Maria Almazova, Deputy Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee, and Niyaz Gazeev, General Director of the Republic's Procurement Development Center.
"The procurement sector is not just developing, it is being transformed, requiring highly qualified, analytical thinking and strategic vision from modern specialists. Therefore, we have created a program to quickly immerse ourselves in the profession, minimize the risks of mistakes, form a systematic approach to procurement and train the personnel reserve of the industry," said Maria Almazova.
About 20 students, recent university graduates, and aspiring professionals participated in the pilot project. Earlier, the students successfully completed a two-week distance module, having studied the basics of procurement theory. The full-time training will last one week, during which students will undergo in-depth study of real practical cases, communicate with leading industry experts and complete a creative project.
The program will end with a final round table at which students will present their projects. All graduates will receive official certificates confirming their level of qualification, as well as the possibility of employment in state and municipal institutions and departments of the republic.
