Government business has set deadlines for the transition to Russian radio electronics

31 July 2025, Thursday

The government recommended that state-owned companies increase the share of Russian radioelectronic products to 60% by January 1, 2028. The methodological recommendations approved on July 4 by the presidium of the government commission for digital development prescribe an annual increase in the share of domestic RAP by at least 15%.

The calculation includes computers, laptops, servers, network and telecommunication equipment, and industrial computers. The share of RAP from the register of Russian industrial products or the Eurasian Register of Industrial Goods is taken into account. If there are no analogues in the registers, individual indicators are possible.

If replacement is not possible, the organization must obtain confirmation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade that the required products "are not and will not be manufactured in the Russian Federation during the transition planning period." It is allowed to use foreign client equipment with a service life of up to 5 years by January 1, 2028, and server equipment for up to 7 years.

At the end of March, electronics manufacturers discussed with the Ministry of Industry and Trade a complete ban on the purchase of foreign computers, servers, tablets and other equipment through public procurement, thereby limiting the current "second extra" scheme.
