Orphaned children from seven districts of Tatarstan will get apartments

The Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to purchase 149 apartments for orphans and children left without parental care in seven municipalities of Tatarstan for more than 588.3 million rubles. Information about the electronic auction was published by the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee.

Apartments must meet strict technical standards: the living area must be between 24 and 36 square meters, and the ceiling height must be at least 2.5 meters. The largest number of premises is planned to be purchased in Kazan — 139. Three apartments each in Leninogorsk district and Chistopol, one each in Agryz, Yelabuga, Zelenodolsk and Mamadyshsky district.

"Special attention is paid to the compliance of housing with the standards of the housing Code and sanitary and epidemiological requirements. It is forbidden to buy housing in the basement, basements, dilapidated and dilapidated housing stock, in houses subject to demolition." - said Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee.

All residential premises must be legally clean: free from obligations and legal disputes. The contractor must complete the work by December 20, 2025. The initiative is designed to provide decent housing conditions for orphans and children deprived of parental care.
