The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Procurement Development Center, launched a pilot educational initiative for students — "The Buyer. New Generation", which is scheduled to start on August 1, 2025. The course is aimed at training highly qualified personnel in the field of state and municipal procurement. Today, the possibilities of the program and prospects for further cooperation between the department and the youth structure were discussed with representatives of the Youth Government of Tatarstan.
"We consider it necessary to create a modern training system for young specialists in the field of public procurement. The program will provide our economy with competent personnel capable of effectively solving the urgent tasks of the industry," said Maria Almazova, Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Niyaz Gazeev, Head of the Tatarstan Procurement Development Center, noted the high interest of students in obtaining practical skills and certification, which allows them to apply for vacancies in government agencies.
"Upon completion of the course, each student will receive an official certificate of completion of the program. This will give graduates competitive advantages in the labor market and increase their chances of successful employment in state and municipal structures," he added.
Young people will have a busy academic schedule: distance learning courses, face-to-face seminars and internships that allow them to master key aspects of the profession. The one-month course will provide young professionals with the necessary competencies and create the basis for the professional growth of future experts in this field.
"Such educational initiatives help prepare young people for an active role in the economy of our region. We see the prospects of the program and look forward to further cooperation with government agencies in the development of the vocational training system," commented Igor Zhernenkov, Chairman of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The recruitment of students for the course continues today. The participants expressed confidence that the program would become an important initiative in training qualified personnel for the state and municipal authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of procurement.
