Small technology companies concluded 5.3 thousand contracts with state-owned companies for a total of 78.5 billion rubles as part of purchases under 223-FZ in the first half of 2025. At the same time, 87% of them were concluded with small technology companies from among small and medium-sized businesses. The volume of such agreements exceeded 62.3 billion rubles. Software products have become the most sought–after nomenclature among customers produced by MTK - SME entities. This is followed by machinery and equipment, computer equipment, publishing and financial services.

The largest concentration of MTK suppliers is currently recorded in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Republic of Tatarstan. These regions account for more than half of all small technology companies.

It should be recalled that currently Law 223-FZ provides for the obligation for customers, the list of which is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, to annually increase the volume of purchases of innovative and high-tech products by 10%, including from SMEs by 5%.
