An auction participant for the supply of ventilators complained that the description of the purchase object requires the presence of HDMI or VGA connectors, but does not provide for the possibility of supplying goods with equivalent ports.
The applicant noted that HDMI is an international trademark, but the customer did not accompany it with the words "or equivalent", as required by Law No. 44-FZ. It is not enough to indicate the possibility of supplying devices with a VGA connector, since the HDMI interface has other analogues.
The FAS found the complaint well-founded. The customer did not explain why, when using the HDMI port, it allows only the VGA connector as an equivalent.
The inspectors also found other violations.
