According to the results of the first six months of 2025, the Republic of Tatarstan ranked third in Russia in terms of purchases from small and medium-sized businesses. The total amount of contracts between government customers and SMEs in the region exceeded 250 billion rubles, which is 25 billion rubles more than in the same period last year.
Moscow took the first place in the rating with a purchase volume of more than 1.2 trillion rubles, while St. Petersburg took the second place with 345 billion rubles. Throughout Russia, in the first six months of 2025, according to Federal Law No. 223-FZ, over 428,000 contracts were concluded with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses worth over 3.8 trillion rubles. The number of suppliers has reached about 150,000, which is 4.4% more than in 2024.
Expanding the participation of small and medium-sized businesses in procurement under 223-FZ is part of the objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
