The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan JSC have announced the launch of a pilot project of the program for the adaptation and development of novice procurement specialists "The Buyer. A new generation." The program has been developed taking into account modern procurement requirements and includes theoretical classes, practical cases and an exchange of experience with the committee's specialists.
"The main goal of the program is the rapid and high—quality introduction of new specialists into the field of public procurement, the formation of a stable personnel reserve and the reduction of the risks of mistakes at the start of a career. Currently, the main focus is on young employees with little experience, as well as on attracting students and graduates of specialized educational institutions," commented Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee.
The first participants have already completed training and received certificates. Among them is Alina Filatova, a representative of the republic's tariff committee, who emphasized the timeliness and practical benefits of the training: "The educational program turned out to be very timely and helped to avoid many mistakes in the work."
The training includes a two-week remote module on the platform of JSC "Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan", face-to-face training for 1 week and a creative project with a final discussion at a round table. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate confirming their qualifications.
"The program will help create a new generation of purchasers with modern competencies, improve the quality of procedures and professionalism in the industry, and make the career of a contract manager more attractive to young people," said Niyaz Gazeev, General Director of the Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Aspiring procurement professionals, university and college students who want to start a career in this field are invited to participate in the free program.
