A ban will be imposed on purchases of foreign-made televisions.
The relevant amendments to Government Decree No. 1875 dated December 23, 2024 were prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
Products with codes OKPD 2 26.40.20.110 "Color television receivers (televisions) with sound and image recording and reproduction devices" and 26.40.20.120 "Color television receivers (televisions) without sound and image recording and reproduction devices" will be moved from Appendix No. 2 to appendix No. 1 of the said resolution.
The developers note that the volume of production of these goods in Russia is many times higher than the needs of customers under Laws No. 44-FZ and 223-FZ. At the same time, last year the share of purchases of these domestically produced products was only 41%. The problem can be solved by banning the purchase of such goods of foreign origin.
The public discussion of the project will end on June 16, 2025.
