2 June 2025, Monday

In the first half of this year, the amount of savings in concluding state and municipal contracts in Tatarstan reached 2.35 billion rubles. This figure is slightly more than two percent of the total volume of transactions carried out. This was announced during a meeting in the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan, which was chaired by Marat Ziatdinov.

The savings were distributed as follows: regional customers reduced costs by 1.58 billion rubles, municipal structures — by 0.77 billion rubles. In total, almost 29,000 contracts were signed during this period, the total amount of which exceeded 132.5 billion rubles.

Cooperation with small and medium-sized businesses in the region deserves special attention: the number of concluded contracts has reached 15.6 thousand units, the total amount of financing amounted to an impressive 34.2 billion rubles. According to the results of the first quarter, the republic rose to 2nd place among Russian regions in terms of public procurement from small and medium-sized businesses, overtaking St. Petersburg.

"The rapid growth of purchases in Tatarstan underlines the leadership in creating favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses. This not only contributes to the economic growth of the region, but also strengthens trust between government agencies and the private sector," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee.

The most ambitious project of the first half of the year was the contract for the construction of the first section of the second line of the Kazan metro — from Fuchika metro station to Sakharova station. The contract worth more than 1.9 billion rubles was awarded to Glavstroy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The work began on April 28 and will be completed in January next year.

"All our efforts are aimed at ensuring maximum economic benefits and transparency of the procurement process. We see progress in reducing costs, which means that budget funds are being spent efficiently and purposefully," summed up Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee.
