Tatarstan was noted for its active work in the Union of Purchasers of Russia
The annual meeting of the members of the Union of Purchasers of Russia was held in Moscow, attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Deputy Head of the Federal Treasury Anna Katamadze, Director General of the Union of Purchasers Pavel Tikhomirov, Rector of the Institute of Public Procurement Andrey Khramkin, as well as representatives of the regions. Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee, took part in the meeting from the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Union unites specialists in the field of procurement of regional authorized bodies and customers working under Federal Laws No. 44-FZ and No. 223-FZ. The meeting summed up the results of the work over the past year and discussed plans for the current one. Among the key tasks for 2025 is the development of a standard for training specialists in the field of procurement and the holding of a conference of educational organizations in September this year in Kazan.
The State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan has been actively working as part of the Union of Purchasers of Russia since September 2023, improving procurement legislation. Participation in the union is an important step in the development of public and municipal procurement. This allows not only to share experiences with other regions, but also to actively participate in the formation and improvement of legislation in this area.
"This year, together with the Union, Kazan will host the first All-Russian Conference of educational organizations in the field of procurement and competition, scheduled for September. The event will provide an opportunity for specialists from different regions to exchange best practices, discuss topical issues and develop common approaches to the training and development of procurement specialists," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the RT State Procurement Committee.
Following the meeting, Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan, was awarded a letter of thanks from Anton Guetta, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, for his active work in the Union of Purchasers, high professionalism and great personal contribution to the development of the sphere of state, municipal and corporate procurement. The award was presented to the chairman, Marat Ziatdinov.
