Today, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, employees of the RT State Procurement Committee on the Walk of Fame took part in a solemn ceremony of laying flowers to the stele with the names of those who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. Chairman of the Committee Marat Ziatdinov noted that Victory Day is a great holiday.

"Today we remember our fathers and grandfathers who conquered a peaceful sky for us. I belong to the generation that had the opportunity to learn from the people who went through that terrible war. Our main task is to honor our veterans, our history, and the heroes of the Great Patriotic War deserve it," said Marat Ziatdinov.

The staff of the State Committee honored the memory of the fallen in the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence. On the Walk of Fame near the Sukonnaya Sloboda metro station there is a stele and a monument–a tram operated by Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Kabushkin before the war.

The people who lived during the terrible years of the war made a huge contribution to the Great Victory, which earned eternal memory and recognition of posterity. No one is forgotten – nothing is forgotten.
