3 April 2025, Thursday

The interregional conference "Digitalization and Centralization of procurement in Chukotka" was held in Anadyr, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. The event was organized by the Department of Public Procurement and the Department of Finance and Property Relations of the Chukotka Autonomous District with the support of the operator of the electronic platform and the Association of Purchasers of Russia "ROST".

The conference brought together experts from the Republic of Tatarstan, the Perm Region and the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. Tatarstan was represented by Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee. He spoke about the key changes in the legislation on the contract system that came into force in 2025, and also conducted a quiz on the national regime.

"Centralization of procurement is one of the most important areas of our activity. According to the results of last year, the State Committee of Tatarstan conducted 928 centralized purchases worth almost 7 billion rubles. 68.8% of the contracts were concluded with republican suppliers. All this contributed to budget savings of 4.5% or 270.2 million rubles," said Iskander Bagautdinov.

The centralization of procurement in Tatarstan has been carried out since 2008 for government customers and since 2015 for state autonomous institutions. This significantly increases efficiency, reduces labor costs in the field, and minimizes the number of procedures with violations.
