The Ministry of Health has developed a new methodology for calculating prices for vital drugs

A draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation "On approval of the methodology for calculating manufacturers' marginal selling prices for medicines included in the list of vital and essential medicines" has been posted.

The Ministry of Health will update the methodology for calculating the marginal selling prices of manufacturers. The document prescribes calculations of prices for drugs, including those produced in the EAEU member states.

The resolution, when approved, will enter into force on September 1, 2025 and will be valid for 6 years.

The public discussion of the document will last until March 6.
