Draft law on creation of GIS "Antikartel" adopted in the first reading
The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on the creation of the state information system "Antikartel". The initiative was developed by the FAS of Russia and is aimed at strengthening control over compliance with antimonopoly legislation.
A new article in the Law on Protection of Competition will consolidate the legal basis of the Antikartel GIS, designed to prevent, identify and suppress anticompetitive agreements.
The functionality of the system will allow you to automatically analyze the data of the Unified Information System in the field of procurement and GIS "Bidding". Using machine learning technologies, Antikartel GIS will be able to identify potential violations of antitrust regulations and minimize the risks of cartel collusion.
