The winners of the "Manager of the Year" competition were awarded in Kazan
Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, and Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of the Republic, took part in the awarding ceremony for the winners of the republican Leadership of the Year 2024 contest. The ceremony took place at the Korston shopping mall.
The Rais of Tatarstan thanked the audience for helping the servicemen, their families, and residents of the new regions. "Today, the main challenge for all of us is the successful completion of a special military operation," he stressed.
Minnikhanov recalled that 2025 has been declared the Year of Defender of the Fatherland in Russia. The republic will have to adequately carry out all planned events, including the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. He also reported on the results of the year, calling the BRICS summit in Kazan one of its key events, and spoke about the main results of the region's socio-economic development.
The award ceremony followed. The Rais of Tatarstan presented the state awards of the Russian Federation and Tatarstan to the participants, and Alexey Pesoshin presented diplomas and badges to the laureates of the competition.
In 2024, 102 recommendations were submitted to the Commission. As a result, 89 of them became nominees based on the results of the evaluation. These are the heads of organizations and enterprises who, together with their teams, have managed to achieve high company performance.
The contestants were awarded in the following categories: "For high competitiveness", "For investment activity", "For the development of high—tech and knowledge-intensive industries", "For achievements in innovation", "For high social responsibility", "For the active development of human resources", "For the successful management of small and medium-sized businesses", "For the digital transformation of the enterprise".
The annual competition has been held since 2022 on the initiative of Associations and industrialists of Tatarstan. Its main goal is to ensure recognition of the merits and dissemination of the positive experience of the best managers of enterprises and organizations who have achieved high results and made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of Tatarstan.
