Concerts more expensive than 1 million rubles were proposed to be banned at the expense of the budget

11 November 2024, Monday

A draft amendment to Article 19 of Law No. 44-FZ has been submitted to the State Duma. It is proposed to amend paragraph 2 of Part 3 of Article 19 of the Law on the Contract System.

The bill proposes to introduce a norm on limiting the cost of services for organizing and conducting concerts, musical performances and corporate events. If the amendments are adopted, the maximum price of such services will be 1 million rubles. It is envisaged that this amount may be increased by the projected inflation rate in the corresponding financial year.

The initiators of the project note that the funds saved in this way should be used to finance healthcare and education.

Appropriate amendments will also be required in:

Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1047 dated 13.10.2014, which establishes the rules for determining regulatory costs in terms of public procurement;

Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 09/02/2015 No. 926 approving the rules for determining requirements for certain types of goods, works, and services purchased.
