In 9 months, centralized purchases have helped Tatarstan customers save more than 185 million rubles
Since the beginning of 2024, the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan has conducted 513 centralized purchases. They were implemented in the format of open tenders, auctions in electronic form and requests for quotations. Budget savings amounted to almost 6 percent. This was announced today by the head of the department, Marat Ziatdinov, during a weekly meeting.
Vehicles, computer equipment and network equipment, cartridges, light industry products, innovative nanotechnology products, etc. were purchased for customers. The total amount of purchased goods and services amounted to more than 3 billion. 158 million rubles. It was possible to reduce budget costs by more than 185 million rubles.
"It is necessary to constantly improve the mechanisms of work, there are reserves and possibilities for automating processes. It is necessary to strive for maximum results, apply the best practices. This will minimize the risks of disrupting auctions, improve the quality of products supplied and reduce financial costs by increasing the volume of purchases," said the Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
To support users on the basis of the Procurement Development Center, the State Committee provides operational information and consulting assistance to republican customers. 589 requests were processed. In addition, educational events and automated testing are conducted in order to determine and maintain the qualifications of specialists in the field of procurement.
