The system of genealogical databases is being modernized in Tatarstan
The State Committee of the Republic for Archival Affairs has planned the modernization of the Genealogical Database Management system. The initial price of the contract is 17,180,382 rubles, funds will be allocated from the republican budget. The relevant information on the website of the unified information system was posted by the State Procurement Committee of Tatarstan.
The main purpose of the Genealogical Database Management system is to automate the processes of collecting, processing, systematizing and building genealogical links based on archival documents for the population who lived and reside in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. The system includes the following software modules: "Data entry and loading", "Family Tree Constructor", "Chronicle of settlements", "Historical Events database", "Interactive historical map", "Reuse of projects", "User Management and auditing".
One of the key requirements of the customer is to ensure confidentiality and protection of information. In particular, an agreement will be concluded with the contractor on non-disclosure of official and other confidential information that became known to him during the provision of services.
"The implementation of certain types of activities on the territory of Russia requires a special permit. The procurement notice establishes a requirement for participants to have a valid license from the FSB of Russia for the development, production, distribution of encryption tools, information and telecommunications systems," commented Iskander Bagautdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Work on the modernization of the system will have to be carried out in stages. The deadline for the development of a private technical specification is 2 working days from the date of conclusion of the contract. After that, it will be necessary to make layouts of screen forms. By December 20, 2024, to develop the software, conduct all necessary tests and put it into operation. Quality guarantees for the work performed — at least 12 months from the date of signing the acceptance document.
