Public procurement specialists from Yakutia learn from Tatarstan's experience

A four-day workshop on the exchange of experience for public procurement specialists from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) has started in the State Committee for Procurement of the Republic of Tatarstan. The department has organized an introduction to the practice of Tatarstan in the field of procurement and advanced training courses.

"The entire system of procurement activities on the territory of our republic is built in accordance with current federal and regional legislation, is effective and understandable, transparent for everyone. We hope that our work these days will be as fruitful as possible, and the knowledge and experience that we will give you will be in demand. We hope that the Republic and its capital will make a pleasant impression on you," Director of the Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan Niyaz Gazeev addressed and thanked colleagues from Yakutia for their trust and choice.

An effective centralized procurement system has been built in Tatarstan today, which makes it possible to respond promptly to customer requests and achieve significant budget savings in organizing competitive procedures. The guests from the Sakha Republic highly appreciated the level of organization of work, highlighted the best practices.

"Tatarstan is one of the leading regions that has successfully implemented the contract system. We want to take in a unique experience and integrate it into our work. Moreover, starting next year, many changes are expected in the legislation in the field of procurement," said Nikolai Pavlov, head of the department of the Agency for Municipal Property Management of the city of Yakutsk.

As part of the professional development program, participants will study the issues of organizing and conducting purchases in accordance with Federal Law No. 223-FZ. A visit to the Tatarstan state Procurement agency and a meeting with Director General Yakov Geller, a visit to the Department of Food and Social Nutrition of Kazan, and sightseeing tours of the city are also planned. According to the results of the training, state-issued certificates will be awarded.
