Public procurement in the IT sector under Federal Law 44 increased by 8.7% in 2024%
In the eight months of 2024, the volume of public procurement in the IT sector of Russia under Federal Law 44 increased by 8.7% and amounted to 200 billion rubles. 55,200 purchases were placed — 11.5% more than in the same period last year. At the same time, according to 223-FZ, the volume of purchases decreased by 9.8% and amounted to 72.77 billion rubles.
The number of purchases of software and licenses under 44-FZ increased by 3.7%, while purchases of computers and peripheral equipment increased by 14%. Among the regions with the largest volumes of purchases are Moscow, St. Petersburg and several regions.
The main reason for the growth of public procurement was the desire of government agencies to increase cybersecurity and introduce new IT solutions to improve their work.
