By the beginning of the academic year, Tatarstan schools and colleges had purchased equipment worth more than 2 billion rubles
Since the beginning of 2024, 69 contracts totaling 2.5 billion rubles have been concluded through the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the implementation of the national project "Education". This was announced live by the head of the Department Marat Ziatdinov at the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"Among them there are more than 20 purchases of inventory for republican institutions of vocational education and training. In the new academic year, new digital equipment will appear there, furniture will be updated. In addition, tractors and trucks were purchased for practical training. Also, work is currently underway to purchase the necessary equipment for training in the manufacture and piloting of UAVs," he said.
In addition, since the beginning of the year, the State Committee has made purchases for catering in kindergartens in the amount of about 1 billion rubles.
Ziatdinov recalled that in order to identify violations in terms of transparency of state contracts in Tatarstan, together with Rospotrebnadzor, a regional register of unscrupulous suppliers has been created; information on detected violations is sent to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
