Magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan will switch to a domestic operating system
Russian software will be installed and configured at the automated workplaces of judicial precincts of magistrates of the republic. The relevant purchase was placed by the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan. The initial price of the contract is 1.5 million rubles. The customer is the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan.
In total, it is planned to equip 809 workplaces. The Russian Astra Linux operating system (OS) will be installed on them. The work must be completed by November 20, 2024. The warranty period is at least 12 months from the date of signing the acceptance document.
"The republic is in the process of transferring government jobs to a domestic operating system. The changes will affect local governments, regional departments and budgetary institutions. The transition to domestic software is, first of all, a necessary process that, under the conditions of sanctions pressure on the country, will help secure the management system at all levels of government," said Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Alesya Muzalevskaya.
