New labeling rules for certain types of products have been approved
Since September 1, 2024, bicycle products are marked without fail. For some types of medical products, a pilot project on labeling with identification tools will start from this date.
Mandatory labeling of all types of bicycles and bicycle frames starts in September. The rules for participants in the turnover of such products and the start of mandatory labeling were approved by Government Decree No. 645 dated 23.05.2024.
Resolution No. 645 also established that the obligation to provide information on the labeling of bicycles and their frames to the state information system for monitoring the turnover of goods "Honest Sign" can be fulfilled through acceptance in accordance with part 13 of Article 94 of Law No. 44-FL (paragraph 20 of the Rules from Resolution No. 645).
The labeling system is being introduced in stages, so some product groups are being labeled in a test mode. From September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025, labeling of certain types of medical products will be carried out in an experimental mode. The experiment was approved by Government Decree No. 620 dated 17.05.2024, according to which participants in the medical products market have the right to test the product labeling system on a voluntary basis.
