The federal product cataloging system for federal needs begins to operate in order to ensure the fulfillment of the state defense order
On May 26 of this year, a new Article 6.1-1 of Law No. 275-FL will enter into force, providing for the creation of a federal product cataloging system for federal needs designed to provide information to government customers, lead performers and performers regarding technical and qualitative characteristics, operating conditions of supplies, their developers, manufacturers and suppliers during formation, placement and the fulfillment of the state defense order. In particular, a federal catalog of products for federal needs is being introduced (hereinafter referred to as the Catalog), which must be applied by government customers, lead contractors and executors when forming, placing and executing state defense orders. At the same time, government customers, head executors and executors will be required to include in contracts and contracts mandatory conditions for the inclusion in the Catalog of information about goods to be catalogued. Also, these persons are required to use information about goods subject to cataloging from the Catalog when forming, placing and fulfilling a state defense order.
The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the Rules for the Creation, Formation and Functioning of the federal product cataloging system for federal needs, which will also enter into force on May 26.
