Certain provisions on centralized procurement of office software may be suspended
The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Russia proposes to suspend until December 31, 2024 the Rules of Interaction of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Russia with federal executive authorities in the planning and implementation of centralized procurement of office software and software in the field of information security, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 08.06.2018 N 658 (further - Resolution No. 658). Also, until this date, it is planned not to apply certain provisions of Resolution No. 658 concerning the implementation of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Russia of the relevant powers in the field of software procurement.
Recall that according to Resolution No. 658, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Russia is authorized to carry out centralized purchases of licenses for office software and software in the field of information security in the interests of federal executive authorities, whose activities are managed by the Government of the Russian Federation. In particular, the Ministry ensures the planning of these purchases, the identification of contractors, the conclusion of contracts and their execution, including in terms of acceptance of delivered goods, the results of work, services rendered, payment of software licenses.
