The conclusion of contracts for the rental of residential premises for military personnel does not require competitive procedures
According to the new paragraph 63 of Part 1 of Article 93 of Federal Law No. 44, from November 13, 2023, a lease agreement for residential premises, including those located on the territory of a foreign state, can be concluded with a single counterparty for their provision to military personnel and their family members living together with them in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. These purchases may be carried out by federal executive authorities or federal state bodies in which military service is provided for by federal law, or bodies or institutions authorized by them.
At the conclusion of the relevant contract, the requirements of Parts 4 - 9, 11 - 13 of Article 34 of Federal Law No. 44 may not apply. The corresponding amendments were made to Part 15 of Article 34 of Federal Law No. 44.
