State purchases of foreign-made pianos may be banned
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation proposes to supplement the annex to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 616 dated 30.04.2020 "On the establishment of a ban on the Admission of Industrial Goods Originating from Foreign States for the Purposes of Procurement for State and Municipal Needs, as well as Industrial Goods Originating from Foreign states, Works (services) Performed (Rendered) by Foreign Persons, for for the purposes of procurement for the needs of national defense and state security" (hereinafter referred to as Resolution No. 616) by the new position "Piano" (OKPD code 2 32.20.11.120). At the same time, it is proposed to exclude a similar position from the annex to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 30.04.2020 No. 617 "On restrictions on the admission of certain types of industrial goods originating from foreign countries for the purposes of procurement for state and municipal needs".
If the Government of the Russian Federation supports the initiative of the Ministry, the corresponding resolution will come into force from the date of its official publication.
Recall that the goods specified in the annex to Resolution No. 616 originating from foreign states (with the exception of the EAEU member states) can be purchased by customers in the presence of a permit issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia for the purchase of industrial goods originating from a foreign state.
