The procedure for requesting quotations in electronic form has been clarified
On July 1, 2020, a new version of article 82.1 of Law No. 44-FZ "on the contract system in the sphere of procurement of goods, works, and services for state and municipal needs" comes into force, which establishes the procedure for requesting quotations in electronic form (hereinafter also referred to as request for quotations).
In particular, according to the changes made in part 2 of article 82.1 of Law No. 44-FZ, the maximum value of the initial maximum contract price increases from 500 thousand rubles to 3 million rubles, when customers have the right to make purchases in this way. The annual volume of such purchases should not exceed 10% of the total annual volume of the customer's purchases, while excluding the limitation of the annual volume of purchases made by conducting a request for quotations, which currently should not exceed 100 million rubles.
In addition, the minimum deadline for submitting bids by participants has been reduced from 5 to 4 days, which is calculated from the day following the day of placing a notification on the request for quotations in electronic form in the Unified information system.
