The government has changed the requirements for guarantor banks in public procurement for the next two years

2 August 2019, Friday

In 2020, the credit rating should not be lower than the level "B(RU)" on the national scale of the ACRA Agency or not lower than the level "ruB" on the national scale of the Agency "Expert RA".

In 2021 it needs to be not below the level of "B+(EN)" on a scale of АКРА or the Agency not below the level of "ruB+" on a scale of Agency "Expert RA".

Initially, it was planned that since 2020 banks with higher ratings "BB-(RU)" or "ruBB-"will be able to issue guarantees. With the amendments, this requirement will only come into effect in 2022.

The requirements for the amount of equity will remain unchanged: at least 300 million rubles of equity.
