Medicines, all stages of production are held in the EAE, will receive preferences in public procurement
According to the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1289, when purchasing drugs from the VED list, the customer must apply restrictions and comply with the conditions for admission to purchases of foreign medicines.
According to the changes in this resolution, if after application of these restrictions at least one proposal suggests the supply of preparations, all the production stages of which, including the synthesis of the molecule of the active substance in the production of pharmaceutical substances, take place on the territory of the member states of the EEMP, medicines, the conditions of admission for public procurement of foreign goods established by the Ministry of Finance are applied. Information on these substances must be included in the registration dossier of the relevant drugs.
The amendments will come into force on January 1, 2019. They will be applied to the procurement of drugs from the VED list, notices of which are posted to the EIS after that date.
