New requirements for banks issuing guarantees in the field of public procurement have become known
Since June 1 of this year, banks that meet the following requirements will be able to provide guarantees to secure bids and contracts:
have at least 300 million rubles. own funds. The amount of capital is calculated using the methodology of the CBR as of the last reporting date;
have a credit rating not lower than the level of "B- (RU)" according to the national rating scale for Russia to the agency ACRA and (or) a credit rating not lower than the level of "ruB-" according to the national rating scale for the Russian Federation to the agency "Expert RA".
From January 1, 2020, the requirements for credit ratings will become stricter: not lower than the "BB- (RU)" level of the agency ACRA and / or "ruBB-" of the Expert RA agency.
Recall, the list of banks that meet the above requirements, will be available on the website of the Ministry of Finance. This list will need to be used by both participants and customers. The first with its help will understand where it is possible to issue a guarantee, and the latter will be able to check whether the guarantee is issued by an authorized bank.
