Response to sanctions against the Russian Federation may affect purchases under the 44-FZ and 223-FZ
According to the draft submitted to the State Duma, the government, by the decision of the president, will be able to introduce countermeasures against states conducting hostile actions for the Russian Federation.
Among the measures envisaged by the project it is important to note the following:
prohibition or restriction of access to procurement under the laws N 44-FZ and N 223-FZ of technological equipment and software from the said states, including from the USA. The list of such equipment and software will be determined by the government;
prohibition or restriction to perform or provide certain types of work and services on the territory of the Russian Federation for the needs of customers under the laws N 44-FZ and N 223-FZ in respect of organizations under the jurisdiction of these states, as well as companies in which the share of participation of such organizations is more than 25%.
