Ministry of Communications wants to change the rules of the ban on the purchase of foreign software

If the project is accepted, customers will receive several important changes to the current provisions.

The ban rules will apply to any purchases that result in the customer getting the right to use the software. The purchase object will not have a value.

Russian programs are equated with programs from the EEA member states, for which they will create a separate register in addition to the existing one.

To establish a prohibition in the procurement documentation will not be necessary if there is no suitable software in any of the registries.

If the customer establishes a ban, only participants who offer software from the registries will be eligible for the purchase.
