The Ministry of Finance explained how to form the initial maximum price for state purchases of medical devices

The initial (maximum) price of the contract should be determined according to the rules of Law № 44. The method of comparable market prices is a priority.

At the same time, when purchasing implantable medical products included in a special list, the requirements of Decree № 1517 should be taken into account. The initial (maximum) price of contract with such purchases can not exceed the registered maximum producer price quotations taking into account the established maximum wholesale premiums and VAT (for goods taxed by this tax) .

Note, the maximum selling prices of producers can be found from the register on the website of Federal service for supervision in the sphere of protection of consumer's rights and human rights. The maximum amount of wholesale surcharges is set by the regional authorities.
