A contest among the media for the best coverage of public procurement issues was announced

The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan of Procurement, the Republican Agency of Press and Mass Communications «Tatmedia» and the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Tatarstan «Center for Procurement Development of the Republic of Tatarstan» are holding a Republican contest for the best coverage in the mass media of the functioning of the contract system in the procurement of goods, works , services to ensure state and municipal needs.

The objectives of the competition:

- Raising public awareness of the functioning of the contract system in the procurement, openness and transparency of information in the procurement sphere;

- Stimulating the activity of public discussion on the functioning of the contract system in the sphere of procurement, improving the efficiency of using budgetary funds, creating a competitive environment, stimulating innovation;

- attraction of attention of the republican commodity producers to the issues of participation in procurement for state and municipal needs;

- attracting the attention of small businesses, socially-oriented non-profit organizations, organizations of disabled people, institutions and enterprises of the penal system to participation in procurement for state and municipal needs.

To participate in the competition are accepted works published (published) in the period from January 1, 2017 to November 9, 2017 and meet the objectives of the competition.

Entries are accepted until 4 pm on November 9, 2017 inclusive.
