The anti-monopoly service explained some questions arising when purchasing medicine with MNN "Sodium chloride"

Specialists of FAS Russia explained that medicines with MNN "Sodium chloride", the having identical dosages, but the fillings of a primary package differing in amount, shall be recognized interchangeable. It is also explained that the primary package doesn't influence therapeutic properties of medicine. Therefore the medicines having MNN "Sodium chloride" (primary package) shall be recognized interchangeable various form of release with other things being equal.

Besides, representatives of department specified that when purchasing medicines in a technical part of documentation on purchase in case of the description of a subject to purchase the purchase subject shall be specified, namely: Medicine MNN, dosage, dosage form, introduction method, quantity. At the same time specifying on completing of a subject of purchase - medicine auxiliary devices and devices - medical products, including cannulas to which there correspond the goods of a certain producer, can have signs of violation of Art. 17 of the Federal law of 26.07.2006 N 135-FL "About protection of the competition", the number of procurement participants expressed in creation of restrictions. With need of the customer for additional auxiliary devices and devices the customer can create separate lot on purchase of such goods, or provide in documentation on purchase a possibility of the procurement participant to provide such goods separately from medicine in case of impossibility of use of this medicine without the specified medical products or incompatibility with other medical products.
