The president of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin following the results of a meeting of Russian President's Council for Countering Corruption has given on January 26, 2016 a number of instructions on corruption counteraction

Following the results of a meeting of Russian President's Council for Countering Corruption the President of the Russian Federation has given a number of the important instructions connected with counteraction to corruption manifestations including:

- to take measures for improvement of legal bases and organizational mechanisms of identification and prevention of the conflict of interests in the public civil servants;

- to optimize the mechanism of control of expenses and the mechanism of the address to the income of the state of property concerning which the data confirming legality of his acquisition aren't submitted;

- to increase efficiency of counteraction of corruption in public authorities, including, at implementation of purchases of goods, works, services for the state and municipal needs;

- it is more active to use mechanisms of the international cooperation for identification, arrest and return from foreign jurisdictions of the assets received as a result of commission of crimes of a corruption orientation;

- to increase efficiency of the information and propaganda and educational measures directed to creation in the society of the atmosphere of intolerance to corruption manifestations;

- to take measures for improvement of monitoring of implementation of large projects with the state participation, including, the infrastructure projects financed within target programs and (or) by resources of the national welfare fund.

Realization of the above instructions is planned for 2016-2017.
