In the first six months of 2026, Tatarstan's customers signed contracts totaling over 160 billion rubles. Budget savings based on the results of the concluded contracts amounted to 2.47 billion rubles. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Ziatdinov at a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency.
"The quality of procurement procedures directly depends on the proper preparation of documents and the involvement of the participants in the process. The State Committee, in turn, provides methodological support, relevant explanations and training platforms for customers," said Marat Ziatdinov.
Among the main measures aimed at reducing the number of errors, he noted the introduction of the mandatory Price Analysis module in the RIS to obtain market price data, as well as the operation of an "Electronic Store" and a Procurement Portal in the system.
For the convenience of customers, RIS maintains a Product Directory containing more than 3 thousand items and standard contract forms, memos and instructions developed by the State Committee are available.
He noted that professional development remains an important tool for competent work. Since 2024, the State Committee, together with the Procurement Development Center, has been conducting field seminars. In 2025, 4 events were held with over 1,600 participants. In 2026, two seminars have already been held in Arsk and Apastovo, bringing together 430 participants.
The program to attract the younger generation to the field of procurement "The Buyer. A new generation." This year, 15 students have completed the program, 8 of them have successfully completed it, two have already been employed, and three have been recommended to the personnel reserve.
"Tatarstan's public procurement system is aimed at preventing violations, not just detecting and punishing them. Our task is to control and help by creating competitive and transparent conditions for participants in the procurement process," Marat Ziatdinov summed up.
