Tatarstan will allocate 53 billion rubles for the implementation of national projects this year

In 2026, the Republic of Tatarstan will continue to work on the socio-economic development of the region, allocating 53 billion rubles for the implementation of 45 regional projects within the framework of 12 national projects. The allocated funds will be used to improve the quality of life of Tatarstan citizens. We are talking about such areas as healthcare, education, culture, ecology, housing and communal services and landscaping.

As part of the national projects "Infrastructure for Life" and "Ecology", 42 parks and squares will be improved, 17 engineering infrastructure facilities will be modernized, and the reclamation of Kazan's silt fields and the clearing of the Melekeski riverbed in Naberezhnye Chelny will be completed.

The national projects "All the best for children" and "Family" are aimed at caring for the family and the younger generation. According to them, six kindergartens will be built in the republic, repairs of two preschool institutions and 36 schools in municipal districts of the republic will be completed, as well as major repairs of the N. V. Lemaev College of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining in Nizhnekamsk and the Gabdulla Tukai Arsky Pedagogical College in Arsk.

According to the regional Family Values project, four art schools will be built and 22 cultural facilities will be renovated. These are six rural cultural centers, two art schools, nine libraries, three museums and two theaters – the Theater of the Young Spectator and the Kazan State Theater of the Young Spectator.

Tatarstan is participating in the implementation of 12 national projects in 2026: "Family", "Youth and children", "Personnel", "Long and active life", "Tourism and Hospitality", "Infrastructure for life", "Unmanned aircraft systems", "Environmental well-being", "Technological provision of food security", "Efficient and Competitive Economy", "Data Economics and Digital Transformation" and "International Cooperation and Exports".
