The uniform requirements for the forms of powers of attorney required for the use of a qualified electronic signature have been changed

On January 21, 2026, Order No. 1001 of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation dated 11/05/2025 was published, which amends the uniform requirements for the forms of powers of attorney required for the use of a qualified electronic signature, approved by Order No. 857 of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation dated 08/18/2021.

The order establishes that for powers of attorney formed from the effective date of the order, it becomes optional to specify these documents, the identity card of the representative.

The order comes into force after 10 days from the date of its official publication.
