The results of the work since the beginning of 2025 were discussed in the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan. Over 7 months, regional and municipal customers have signed more than 37 thousand contracts worth more than 177.5 billion rubles. The customers of the region have saved more than 2 billion rubles on public procurement, and the customers of the municipalities of the republic have saved 1 billion rubles.
In total, the amount of savings in concluding state and municipal contracts in Tatarstan reached 3.04 billion rubles. This figure is slightly less than two percent of the total volume of transactions carried out.
Cooperation with small and medium-sized businesses in the region deserves special attention. In the first half of 2025, more than 16,000 contracts worth 12.4 billion rubles were concluded between government customers and small and medium-sized enterprises in Tatarstan.
"Increasing the volume of contracts with small and medium-sized enterprises makes it possible to increase the competitiveness of local businesses, create new jobs and support the economic growth of the region. Tatarstan occupies the third position in the country in terms of orders from small businesses," said Marat Ziatdinov.
The most ambitious project of 2025 is the contract for the construction of the first section of the second line of the Kazan metro — from Fuchika metro station to Sakharova station. The contract worth more than 1.9 billion rubles was awarded to Glavstroy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The work began on April 28 and will be completed in January next year.
