The board of the RT State Procurement Committee paid special attention to the problem of personnel in the field of procurement. Niyaz Gazeev, Head of the Procurement Development Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted that all state and municipal customers are required to have a contract service and take measures to maintain and improve their skills and professional education. However, over the past 3 years, there has been a decrease in the level of knowledge among procurement specialists. This is evidenced by the results of the annual testing of RT customers.

"The analysis indicates that there are problems in the qualifications of officials involved in the procurement sector. Employees don't have time to update their knowledge. There is also an acute shortage of personnel," said Director General Niyaz Gazeev.

In 2024, a total of 1.5 thousand students were trained at the center. Representatives of the sphere from other regions also come for knowledge — from Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Orenburg and Sverdlovsk regions, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Bashkortostan, Buryatia, Yakutia, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts.

The speaker announced that this year a personnel reserve project will be launched to train specialists in the field of procurement at technical schools and colleges. Directions and specializations have already been identified on the basis of the Kazan Petrochemical College for the education of future purchasers.

"The right values regarding work should be instilled in young children right after school. Such work will allow us to qualitatively improve the level of knowledge and competence of procurement specialists," Niyaz Gazeev emphasized.

Also, on the basis of the joint—stock company, with the support of the State Procurement Committee, it is planned to organize an adaptation program for novice specialists in the field of procurement - with training, internship and advisory support.
