4,900 contracts worth 4.3 billion rubles were signed by regional and municipal customers of Tatarstan during January 2025. Of these, 2,819 contracts are with representatives of small and medium—sized businesses. The cost of purchasing goods and services was reduced by 98.5 million rubles, or 2.6 percent. The information was announced at the weekly meeting of the RT State Procurement Committee.

"Public procurement has undergone changes since January 2025. New rules have been introduced regarding the forms of national treatment – prohibitions, restrictions, advantages and regulation of the minimum mandatory share of purchases. All of them are aimed at supporting domestic producers and stimulating import substitution in public procurement. They provide additional advantages to Russian suppliers and make their products more attractive to government customers," said Marat Ziatdinov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Procurement Committee.

The largest contract was signed on January 15 by the Center for Digital Transformation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the amount of 125.8 million rubles. The subject of the contract is the maintenance of software for automated control systems.
